About Me

If anyone is reading this website at this moment then you will probably want to know at least a few things about me and why you should listen to the opinions that I’m giving on this website. At the very least you’ll know that I’m crazy and that you’ve wasted your time on this website or you might agree with me and want to visit more often.

I am currently a 23 year old senior at ULL (University of Louisiana at Lafayette to some, USL to others) who is majored in English and minored in History. This website, while fueling my needs to continue writing, will also allow me to voice my opinions on things going on around the world and talk about things that I’m interested in.

I have been playing video games since I was six years old and have been involved with the world of selling video games for the past five years of my life. Though this does not exactly make me the messiah of video games like other gamers believe that they are it does mean that I am passionate about the hobby enough to give my honest opinions on the games that I play in order to help others in making their gaming purchases the right ones. I am not affiliated nor do I consider myself a “fanboy” for one specific console which means that the reviews and opinions you get here will be nothing more than what I have felt through my experiences with the games in review.

I currently own a gaming PC,  Playstation 3,  Nintendo Wii,  Xbox 360, a Nintendo Ds, and a PSP and while at times I do enjoy one more than the others it is never because I think that one system is superior over all the others. My tastes for gaming are just as varied and while I do enjoy a good RPG or adventure game at times I also enjoy the other genres as well (though you will probably never see a Madden 2010 review on here).

These are my thoughts on the website in a nutshell; This will be an honest, casual website with my thoughts and feelings on video games, technology, and things going on around the world. You can get your news, reviews, and hopefully a little bit of humor while you’re here.

Enjoy the website while you’re here and if you have any questions or comments don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail at mark@fakepixeltrees.com or leave a comment with your thoughts on how I’m doing. The one thing that is more important than anything else is that I hope you have a good time while you’re here.
